Travel, Lodging & Meals

Travel

Travel to and from the program site, as well as travel to work sites during the week, remains a team responsibility. Because they make work site placement easier, autos and seven-passenger vans are the preferred method of transportation. Buses and motor coaches are not acceptable vehicles to use as transportation to and from work sites. Please call CMD if you have any questions about our transporation policies.

Lodging and Meals

Program Facilities: Lodging and meeting arrangements differ from one program site to the next. A mix of retreat centers, college campuses, camp facilities and parish/diocesan schools serve as program facilities for Young Neighbors in Action.

All of the program facilities are simple, secure and comfortable - and put us near the people we are working with.

Meals: Meals and snacks are healthy and plentiful - and include opportunities to try ethnic and regional cooking.
